{"id":4362,"date":"2016-03-09T21:19:43","date_gmt":"2016-03-09T20:19:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stohn.de\/3d\/?p=4362"},"modified":"2016-03-09T21:20:17","modified_gmt":"2016-03-09T20:20:17","slug":"up-mini-change-extruder-nozzle-to-0-2mm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stohn.de\/3d\/index.php\/2016\/03\/09\/up-mini-change-extruder-nozzle-to-0-2mm\/","title":{"rendered":"UP! mini change extruder nozzle to 0.2mm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I found a set of nozzles on ebay.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/stohn.de\/3d\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/img_6132.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/stohn.de\/3d\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/img_6132.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They been supposed to fit on up mini \/ makerbot style hotends but&#8230;<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/stohn.de\/3d\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/img_6142.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/stohn.de\/3d\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/img_6142.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n&#8230; the UP mini nozzle (on the right) had a much bigger hole (3.5mm) inside since my UP mini has a metal pipe which inserts in the nozzle (good solution to avoid friction caused by bad drilling):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/stohn.de\/3d\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/img_6136.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/stohn.de\/3d\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/img_6136.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nSo I drilled out the new nozzle by hand, mounted it and it worked like a charm.<\/p>\n<p>Note: You need to use different slicer and \u00a0G-Code transcoder in order to use the much smaller nozzle.
